While they r taking off the engine cover... Raj realised that the coolant joint to the engine is leaking...... guess wat??? its full of GLUE again!!!!! And its still leaking even we didnt start the car...

after they remove the engine cover, thay realised that one side of the casket is full of GLUE!!!! according to Raj, the casket should not apply glue unless for the edges... they spend quite some time to brush it away

Tis is the pic of the vacum pump... a bit blurr.... the whole pump is full of GLUE again!!!! it supposed to fix on wif o rings to function... but look at the GLUUUUUUEEEEEE!!!!!

While trying to change my radiator hose.... they had a hard time taking out the cos it fix wif glue....... Rod found that my heater pipe worn out too so i told them to change..... we were so happy when dat pipr that they change is the onli one no using GLUE to assembled.... hahaha

Don't forget the best part...The BRAKE CALIPER! I was shocked when I saw your rear wheel caliper hanging loose like that. It could have gone very bad if the caliper dislodged midway at high speed. Damn irresponsible!!!

totally revived engine by Rod and his mechanic.... see also arrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhh.... shiok.... all casket change... o rings change... spark plugs change... Rod found dat my alternator bearing sounds like lorry.... CHANGE!!!!!! end of the day like bros advice... since strip naked laioz.... watever no working all change!!!!!!! SHIOK!!!!

All thanks to rod cos i was complaining to Rod dat the braking a bit noisy... he was trying to show me the brand of brake pad and realised the caliper was loose..... thank ROD!!!! hahaha

on top of all dat hor.... after they finz with the engine repair... they give my engine a "bong bong" using degreaser..... piangz... never come across a ws dat will do dat.... after dat still BLOW dry.... OMG!!!! make me so.........

After spending 5hrs + at the ws... it proves to me the dedication of the mechanics, their knowledge of ur car, their effort and care put into ur car.... I reckon they know ur car better then their wife/GF.... at least, i didnt get a bill dat makes me fall off my change end of the day.... Priceless!!!!!!

What was the name of the previous workshop again ?

What they did is downright unethical and dangerous.......

I wonder if they really replaced the VCG or if they just use glue to conceal.

The PCV and oil separator is a good catch ..... That is used to recirculate blow by gases back into the manifold. When it's clogged it may cause higher than usual oil consumption and in some cases pre-mature wear of the piston rings.

2 test can be done to test if the PCV is clogged -

- unplug the PCV hose and suck it. Some old timer mechs still do that. Very gross. I do not do that.

- start the engine, get a plastic bag. Open the oil cap. And put the plastic bag over it. If it does not suck the plastic bag in firmly then the hose could be clogged since the vacuum is not present. DO NOT let go of the bag and let it suck the bag in.

Then go to R2D to get it fixed pending how it is ......

Did you ask Rod about his oil catch can ideas ?

Oops I must clarify, caliper technically wasn't 'glued'. When we saw it, the caliper was not installed properly and half hanging there.

But really, all your oil leak and brake issues can be rectified by any normally competent bmw WS.

That said, your previous WS is really, grossly incompetent and should go into a blacklist so others can stay far far away.
