E90 mods

Seems like more E90 drivers joined the forum. Some have reported their joy and there are some sad stories. Many are itching to add new gadgets and mods to get more out of their ride. Personally, I am planning to replace the air filter and add a ez-stab for starters. 17" rubber in 2006 and ECU upgrade and exhaust likely after warranty. Also contemplating ICE upgrade.

What are your plans and for those who have already started modifying, please share your experiences.

for me, 17/18" rubber and xenon light upgrade when PML knows how to do it.

i smoked the tail lights,smoked all the mirrors,debaged ,19 inch breyton racing magic,gruppe m,volt and grounding,ecotec....and many more to come! lowering,bodykits,spolier,obit,exshast,etc etc....

Mine - 19" rims, smoked rear signal lights, CF front lip & rear deck/boot spoiler.

GruppeM tempting yes but I like to hear it on a E90 1st. cannot tahan during long drive if too loud. potential damage to my eardrums result from wife's nagging if it irritates her too much.

My every cent worth spenting on gruppe M... Money cannot lie! I spent $450 on Cyberspeed CAI, I get $450 result... I paid $1k+ on GruppeM, I get $1k+ result...

Sorry I new E90 owner and know zero about cars... But I do know that I hate the sound of the engine from the outside. What is Gruppe M? Does it make your car sound better from the outside? Does it increase power? Does it increase fuel consumption? Where can I get it done? Will it invalidate the free servicing and warranty?

Sorry for asking so many qns... But I really blur when it comes to such things.

won't void warranty if nothing wrong with your ride. if something goes wrong, which is likely with bimmer, then you are on your own.

during the next meet-up, will check out the gruppe m from you guys....sounds interesting....

mods done: full m-aero kits
mods pending: 18" rims..and possibly lowered it, front lip spliiters
