E90 LCI --> headlight eyelid

drop off my car at pml kampong arang to check the headlight eyelid.
run a full diagnostic. no problem found.
sa said standard procedure, submit report and photo. they will replace the headlight when 'approval' is given wor


right eyelid = brownish
left eyelid = clear
car is coming to 2 years old. 99.9% parked shelter
any suggestion what could be the issues?

Check with your family doctor... seems like your car got conjunctivitis...some eye-drop may help....

Possible for the color to change to brown due to an increase of temperature from one of the lights caused by electrical problem?

agree. either there is excessive heat discharged or the light leveling is out pointing abit up instead of straight

I've the same situation as you and it is also on the same side. I was thinking of talking to the SE during my next servicing to get it replace.

My ride is also about 2 year old.

i don't think they will change the headlight for you during servicing
you either make appointment now or report the fault during serciving and wait for another appointment to replace the headlight.

received several PMs to ask whether my problem is resolved.
a quick update that PML has changed the whole headlight under warranty.
i'm not sure how is your headlight or eyelid problem but mine is very brownish like chow-tar .... it's obvious a 'defect'.
no need to bang table or make noise. SA take picture, submit for approval, then make appointment to change the headlight.
it's a pretty straight forward claim. i did it at Kampong Arang centre as it is near my workplace.

Good for you...PML can claim back from BMWAG so no reason why they dont replace the headlamp when your car is under warranty...Did they install the eye lashes for you?
