E90 - Central Locking Failed - Locked from inside.....Part II

The same problem happened again yesterday afternoon. My wife called and said both the RHS front and rear doors and boot cannot be locked.

Since cannot lock at all, no choice but to drive to PML Alexandra and leave the car there. This morning the CSA called and said they will do thorough check since this is the 2nd times.

PML will also issue us ‘taxi voucher’ and arrange for car to be send back by their driver. Really hope PML can rectified this fault once for all and the car can be ready by tomorrow.

*** Actually, never really expect it to happen again……1st time ‘kena’ car is about 8 months old (Mar 08), now 2nd time - 7 months later. Will it happen again in the next 6-8 months? :angry:

bro..trust me it will happen,unless you really bang hard if there is a 3rd time...everytime those SA will tell you lots of story why and how it happen...but no solution..full of excuses

i have bmw tis cd issued 12_2007 and no service information or watsoever on this central lock failure although it seems to be a common issue. unless im not searching the db right, tat would mean lots of us will continue to encounter it.

Got the car back on Friday as promised and they delivered to my wife's office in Loyang. Also given 2 pcs of taxi vouchers - don't know how it work or the value in it.

This CSA is quite good, call to update me what was done. He said 8 months ago, PML only replaced both front and this time they replaced the both rear door actuators.

But I remembered clearly the previous CSA in Kampong Arang told me they've replaced all the four doors.

Anyway, just hope it won't happen again.
