To the owner of the dark-coloured E90, Sxx 79 P... in case you're a member here, please get your left signal indicators checked. Or your grey matter.

They didn't work when you decided to swing right into my path yesterday at 8:45pm at the Sims Way slip road to Geylang Road. I had to take evasive action with my family in the car, thank you very much.

Very immature, amateur driving... shame on you. :furious:

Re: E90 - bad driving

chill bro...there are lotsa drivers like that, sometimes its due to forgetfulness, non-working indicators or just plain lack of road-ettiquette/safety.
whats impt that u n your family are safe.

Re: E90 - bad driving

I don't like to post a thread against a fellow Bimmer driver but this one very nearly caused a collision... like, HELLO??

Anyway I didn't react to the errant driver by flashing my headlights or honking ;) just took a deep breathe and continued on my way :juggle:

Re: E90 - bad driving

You should have sounded your horn loud and long. Stupid shit probably didn't even realise that he nearly caused a collision.

same as me...thats what i always do.
if they had met my best fren, it would be like combination of #%#$^%&% + middle finger + honking.....haha:lol2:

Re: E90 - bad driving

nowadays i look at the trees for 20 seconds if i m agitated on the roads....ask gaddafi. it works...because by then...the other driver wud hv been long gone....cannot chase.

Re: E90 - bad driving

agree with toto... learn from him. No need to chase or get angry. Let them be... points are important

Re: E90 - bad driving

ya bro..points make the difference between the ability to drive my cars or not! i mean i love cycling...but i cant imagin fetching my family on trishaw.

ps...rodney loves to fetch nic on trishaw...

Re: E90 - bad driving

We must learn to forgive others. These days I also stare at the trees/bushes to relieve myself of anger, because there are just too many of such cases each day.:(

But when anger management fails or when there are no trees to stare at, I will stare at the idiotic driver and compliment that by winding down my window and show him my middle finger.:laughlik:

Re: E90 - bad driving

forget the farker lah... these type of people will someday get their just desserts.. thats why i learnt the hard way that the only way to drive is to assume that everyone else on the road is an idiot ready to slam into your car...

Re: E90 - bad driving

can only say LL,
too many such drivers on the road lately...
sometimes when u give a chase & point center finger @them
they also dunno wat they have done.. @#$%^&*

Re: E90 - bad driving

Good response... I applaud you:thumbsup: , can't be helped, there are so many drivers like that now. They are oblivious to their surroundings, drift into other lanes, turn suddenly, filter suddenly........ so many!

Re: E90 - bad driving

My first post in many days... saw a bandung-pink E90 on my trip but too slow with the camera haha :laughlik:

Ok next time I shall stare at the trees and bushes and the birds and the bees. Hopefully no one will come out from behind the bush and say "kua simi lxx jxxx!!" Today's New Paper got something about a crazy auntie who started a staring incident at a kopitiam :screwedu:

i roughly remember the incident, i did wave to show my apologies...definitely did not expect such an unfrenly post from a fellow forumer (forums are not for flaming). who are you to judge me...'immature and amateur'? those words are uncalled for and i do not think the words came out from the mouth of a matured individual either :shakehea:

anyway i offer my apologies again...and if you are still not pacified, i suggest we meet up so that i am able to fully understand what you want from me.

a word of advice, CHILLS! such incidents are always happening on the roads. esp to a person like me who spends most of my time on the roads,...i always meet with such incidents, minor and major and i understand. i mean its alrite to just drop a frenly note to warn the driver in forums...but if i were to behave like you, i would be a very busy man cos i have to sign up with so many forums and come out with so many 'flaming' words. (i've got better things to do)

oh and for the record, my family was in the car too (hv to bring that up to gain sympathies ya)

lastly to all who replied :
its always better to hear both sides of the stories before commenting. i drive a beemer too ya.:verysad:

mracer77: pls mind your language la...i love to make frens not enemies...furthermore we are beemer lovers :chinese:

ok, let not waste time engaging in such postings, 'fighting' each other...let this thread stops here :)

Listen man: I or the admin will decide if this thread stops here or not, not you.

My issue with drivers like you is that in case of a collision, your actions leave the guy behind picking up the pieces. Both literally on the road, and figuratively with the insurance company.

If that's not immature thinking ("I can get away with this") caused by amateur behaviour behind the wheel, what is? Oh and excuse me, did you just type "such incidents are always happening on the roads"?? Somehow that makes it acceptable yes?

I remember distinctly there were no vehicles behind mine, i.e. it was a clear road so you could have opted to chuck into the slip road after I pass through. I also recall you did not bother to signal.

Has "waving" after the fact now replaced keeping a proper lookout? Frankly I don't give a damn if you waved or you did the macarena wearing a skirt.

You don't have to sign up on any forum to track flames if you'd only please drive with some sense of responsibility.

You still don't get it. I started this thread to bring attention to an incident caused by someone in this forum. With the replies that follow - both positive and negative - hopefully everyone can think a bit about their own actions on the road.

If you accept my point, well and good. Nobody asked you for an apology.

"Any time any day" is no doubt a challenge to a fist fight. If you wanna talk about being "MAN" or not physically, first ask yourself if you're man enough to walk your talk: have you caused another near-miss since that evening? You sound like a candidate for road rage.

I'm not interested in meeting up with you because you're just like those taxi drivers who think doing suicidal things if fine as long as you're "a person like me who spends most of my time on the roads" (experimental logic, no doubt). But I might see you at one of the meetups... not this coming one as I'll be away. People in this forum know I'm for real.

This could've ended with me going OT on my own thread about the crazy auntie, but nope: you got defensive ;)
