E90 Auto Trunk

Hi guys,

Need help. You know how heavy our E90 trunks* are...
Anyone know where I can change the damper to have "auto" open?

Just lift it slightly and it will pushed up by the dampers usually. Or your dampers up lorry already?

Can I check if the back boot of E93 335i is supposed to be pushed up by the dampener as I just bought preown and I had to use quite a bit of force to pull it up.. I thought its because of the convertible mechanism

My E93 boot is also very heavy in my opinion. Comparing with my friends' E90, ours is way too heavy... And it slams down if don't hold downwards while closing.

Just got a set of dampers from ES. Finally feels like the first time I open the trunk.
Although I still like automatic trunk, but I guess I got to live with this until I replace it... the car, not the dampers.
