E90 325i Heat Exchanger is slanted in design?

Hi Guys,

Anyone driving a 325i sedan? Do you guys have a slanted metallic box at the lower part of engine bay right behind the fan coil? I am worried this is a problem as it seems misaligned and about to fall off. Please see my attached photo. Hope someone can enlighten me. Thank you guys...

Yes, it is slanted.
The main purpose is space constraint, cooling performance, thickness of heat exchanger, frontal area of heat exchange.
In general slanted mounting design principle employed extensively in F1 car for space against optimum cooling performance, as the angle position give more frontal surface area yet less air drag against 90 degree position.
