E90 325 throttle body on 320 N46 engine

apparently its the same just the bore is bigger. Saw it for myself today, but not sure if its worth the 800bucks

I personally don't think its worth spending $800 for a bigger TB unless you have already upgraded your intake and exahust (the TB is now the bottleneck).

Slightly better throttle response and alittle smoother pick up at high speed.
Dyno tested ard 8-10 bhp (ST Power)

CAI and Exhaust done before TB

wow....if 8-10hp is pretty good.
a remap can get u abt 10hp for 1500bucks

this is pretty value for money haha

haha ... ECU remap is still the best la because the parameters are tuned by experienced tuner
scoop + aftermarket air filter + exhaust are just physical parts that improve the quantum of input and output but ecu is the master brain that control everything

yeah .... i sure did because i believe ecu tune for 318/320 has no much effect unlike 325 which is 6 pots

ST power got do BM mod? sounds like a good mod.

i remembered the last time i bore the trottle body on my toyota the whole car like higher consumption and slower pick up leh.. after all the mods do tuning again?

The truth about this throttle body is that it does not work as a real one. This type of engine has valvetronic which operates as throttle body. Several millimeters will not improve anything it will be just like before but I doubt that 325i one will fit on N46! The fitting holes are not on the same radius!
P.S. the TB works as convenient one only when the valvetronic fails and the car goes in limp mode or safety control operation
