E90 323i Vs 325i

Hi bro,

323i and 325i both are 2.5L but giving different output power/ torque. Are both models sharing the same engine? Are the difference in performance due to tunning?

Anyone can throw some lights on this?

323i & 325i both share the same engine N52 and 2.5L
323i is detuned means the ECU is tuned down to produce lesser power and there is a "slight" difference in hardware especially the intake DISA
some says you can't just flash the 323i ECU and walaa ... it becomes a 325i
if you are getting a used unit, it's a no brainer to get a 325i as the price should be the same or difference is negligible. get a 325i which is the real deal

no 323... either 325 or up 335 or down 320... nothing else...
