E81 Mod - Not Quite A Diary Though

Finally, they are all here. Just handling mods which I always like to do:

1. 18" Forged construction Volk Racing RE30 measuring 8 and 8.5, shod with Falken RT615 225/40 and 245/40 front and rear respectively

2. JIC Competition Coilover with linear spring rates. It comes with front adjustable camber plates. Current allignment is -2.5 degree front cambers, +6 degree castor and slightly toe out. Rear is -2 degree cambers with neutral toes.

3. AP Racing brake kit which consists of :
* 6 pistons front ( sequentially sized) caliper using 356*32mm disc rotors with alu hat
* 4 pistons rear caliper with pariah E92 335 OEM rear rotors. Dunno why the rear caliper doesnt have the yellow lettering. In away, it's stealth looking but I still wanna shoot AP for this.
* Ferodo DS2500 brake pads
* AP Racing 5.1 brake fluid

Here are the pics :

Re: E81 Mod - Not Quite A Diary Though

first u bot a yellow frog. now u got a blue toad. u amphibious mudskipper face. ai race on shoulder mai?

i go mod my gti u copied my rims!

Re: E81 Mod - Not Quite A Diary Though

Yeah Sam, heard that but the solid disc would do fine for this puppy plus the OEM 335 is only 170bux per piece for 346mm....have to have it. Good thing is it's vented disc which is most important ..

Elvis,
Thanks bro.

Re: E81 Mod - Not Quite A Diary Though

Nice setup with the JIC and the Audemars Piguet. But how come no words at the rear? NNB, from BKK one izzit?

Re: E81 Mod - Not Quite A Diary Though

U mean 336mm for the rear? :) Or u transplanted the front over? Can get slotted for a tad bit more only!

Looks great and fills up the gap nicely! As always, a well sorted ride.

ya lor, it is really unsusual..dunno a cockup or intentional. I should relabel it as ICE-Braker.

oh must b 336mm ( pariah leader told me 346mm, wrong info).. then, cant transplant the front to rear due to handbrake housing fitment.

Jack,

Did you mod your exhaust? Sounded pretty good when I heard it at BVO last Sat.:)

Re: E81 Mod - Not Quite A Diary Though

Nice E81, i love the E81. Good choice to do the handling mods first :)

Stock, want to change to something louder so i can hear the blips when downshifts but so far not many options out there. But agree with you, the orig exos sounds quite nice..
