E60 M-Aero and M5 kit

Anyone here knows the difference between the two?

I know the rear bumper is different with M5 having twin outlet and M-Aero Single outlet.

Any pictures?

ya...m5 kit rear difusser has 2 gaps...why wud u wanna fit that on a normal 5s....will look funny. mike at SWC has got his own fabricated kit. give him a call. exactly the same as m5.. cheaper too.

Found some pictures and M5 front bumper is indeed different from the M-Aero kit, will try to post some pictures if I know how.

You mean Mike makes his own aftermarket kits? Are they M5 or M-Aero? However I am very sceptical about the quality for these.

1st pic is an M5

2nd pic is M-Aero

The front bumper is slightly different on the 2 sides. Shape of front mouth is also slightly different.

The one Mike has is the M5 replica bodykits. He even got em in way before M5 was launched here...

So it will look like the M5 not the M-aero right? I like the M5 kit much better as the flaring on the front bumper is wider.

Yep v much like M5. He can do the side grills too.
I agree that M5 kit looks alot nicer than the M Aero.

I think the bumpers and side skirts are good enough, the side grills are too much, later kena suan..

The side skirts are identical for M5 and M-Aero. The standard is totally flat.

However the M5 has wider front fenders.

However the M5 has wider front fenders.

Checked with Wilman before, the E60s have the same width front fenders including M5s.

If you get OEM M5 Front Bumper, it should fit the normal E60 without any issues.....

If I have E60, I will do OE M5 Front Bumper and stick to M-Aero Sides and Rear.

OR AC front add-on to stock bumper and M-Aero Sides and Rear. If you do not have quad Xhaust tips, the M-Aero rear is actually very nice IMO.....

Anyway, have already ordered the original M-Aero and asked Mike to install next Tuesday.

Shall clarify once and for all and info you guys.

personally i feel the M aero looks better... the front 'mouth' is bigger... hence look more fierce... and the M5 kit dont have foglights as well.... imho

Installed the M Aero & M5 mirror by Mike and happy with the works.

For your info, the $ diff between M5 kit and M Aero is quite big.
