E60 LCI E-Gear tranmission oil

PML advise tat E-gear tranmission oil is lifetime, changing of oil will result bad side effect on the E-gear, but at Boss advise is need to change after 80k mileages.

WHO SHOULD I BELIEF???

any E60 LCI bro can share with me yours experience

bmw always claim lifetime oil blah blah blah but u find their gear changes actually becomes smoother after changing

BMW design their car with life-span of 60K...so thats the life-time definition...

Please don't blame FT.

Since EON ago, PML has said tranmission fluid is longlife because BMW said so.

You all should use the Search function more. Its there for a purpose. As a community service, I attach here one of the better threads discussing ATF change. Since BMW gearboxes always encounter shitloads of problems and is probably the main cause of most BMW breakdowns, apart from engine problems, I think its really worth a good patient read and also find out more from US and UK BMW forums..

Aloy, I kjkl other stuff but I am passionate about our cars' engines one, esp the models I am driving, in this case.. E60, so must read, research and find out more and then can impress Mavia and Annie etc altho I dunno who they are..

You confirm hear many ppl tell u..wah BMW ahh..maintenance sure very high one, your repair costs when break down sure die cork stand etc etc..but I think if you take care of your car well and change whatever needs to be changed before its lifespan ends, then you can enjoy your car for a long time and maintenance costs are actually reasonable lah.

I wanna by F10 M5 ..cb no $$
