E60 gearbox oil help needed

Hi anyone got info of e60 523 gearbox oil?

Like how many litre?

Heard there are two places to change.. one infront one at the back?

What oil did u use and roughly what the cost?

Any parts need to change?

You should only buy original BMW gear box oil. About 7 litres if you are doing ATF change, 9 litres if mechatronics change. About 20~21 bucks/litre +GST at ES. Should be only the front. Not too sure though

Probably change the Transmission Oil Pan at the same time as the seals are compromised when you remove the old part. Check with ES or your workshop what else you need to change at the same time.

It is a 'minus' point for BMW branding if it only works optimally with 'genuine' BMW oli while other work just as well with ordinary brand which of course is much cheaper...

I just got it change at a bmw specialise workshop.
Oil change is around 7 litres and pls change filter as advise by es.
