e60 early batch with stock Dunlop runflats -take note!!

If you or somebody you know own early batch e60s with runflats (mostly 530i), take note about early premature tyre wear.
Go back to BMW agent to check it out for premature wear and noisy tyre. Wear typically occurrs on the inner shoulder of the tyre. Most severe wear are at the rear tyres. The wear exposed nylon threads and look whitish in color.
You might not notice the wear coz you thought you only have 25k km on the odo and you will be caught by surprised like myself.

yeah, they are Dunlop SP Sport 01 DSST Run Flat Tires.

I noticed mine has some wear more on the front tires and was waiting for them to really crap out before going to PML and making noise. But guess what, sneaky buggers flipped the tyres over when I sent the car in for oil change.

Since the problem is due to excessive wear on the inner side, they just flipped the tyres so that the wear will now be even-ed out.....damn!
