E60 Center Aircon Knob

Found the centre Aircon Knob cum ON/OFF switch cracked!!!!...

Isit covered under warranty?

If not, any idea where to get a replacement one. Dont think PML sells just the knob alone.

Any salvage yards in S'pore?

Can't claim it under warrenty. You can try your luck though but its probably due to external factors. You could buy one off from the parts dept. Its called the face plate or rather the complete aircon contol panel. Doesn't sound cheap to me.

Salvage yards? Don't think any of the 523s are due for scrapped yet.

I believe the knob is still in operating condition?

they should cover it as long as ur car is not in the 3rd year

will check with PML then. Knob is still operating, just that it has a crack line on it.

car only exposed to the sun when driving. otherwise, its under shelter most of the time.

maybe manufacturing defect...... or my fingers too "strong".

FYI: part covered under warranty........... yeah..........
