E60 aircon not cold

To all the old birds here, my e60 Aircon is getting from bad to worse, the air from Aircon set to max is only slightly collet than outside air. Afternoon drive is darn hot. Maybe can recommend me to some ws that specialize in bmw Aircon to take a look

Check whether u have enough air con gas. If Yes, compressor need replacement. Not enough gas, check for leak... mainly cooling coil

Can estimate cost of cooling coil replacement? Can repair bo? Btw compressor abt $1.5k...... Siao liao

If do at jb, coil replacement should be around rm1.5k with labour and gas... need to remove dashboard

Should check the gas and preassure. If takes long to cool and preassure low possibly the pressure/relief valve $50. Compressor should cost around $700

Even after 1-2 hr driving still not cold, that's why I suspect is compressor

Does your ac still a little cold and warm air comes out when start?

Most likely comp pressure/relief valve. Bring it to Tomika @ Ubi. They should be able to solve it for around $280

Is that any link between pressure relief valve and compressor cooling?
As far from i know that pressure relief valve was only activate when system having abnormal pressure much higher than operate pressure, it will purge out pressure from refrigerant pipeline to avoid explosion.

Facing the same issue with u bro air con slightly cold, under hot sun not cold anymore. Either your heater valve or compressor spoil. And yes compressor should be around 700, heater valve maybe 200+.

I had the same problem with my Subaru Legacy previously and did a air con flush. There is a machine that can flush out all and later they refill back.
After that Air Con very cold.

Not too sure if can do the same to BMW.

can do also but not sure whether it will work. Want to try out but no time do.
