E60 525 Variations

Understand there is a couple of variations of the 525. The newer one comes with the push start, some are 184 bhp while some are 218bhp etc. etc.

In exact how many "variations" (or maybe some will call it facelift) of the 525 are there is the local market? What are the differences? Anything to look out for when buying one.

Mine is M54. The engine itself is superb. Terry puts it well. Go for bigger capacities.
