Volvo or SM Motors left a bad taste in our mouth when we last owned the S70T5. It was a beautiful car to drive.... powerful, understated and really, nice Volvo leather smell. However, the car was really quite unstable (even on the straights) and a real drinker......
Now, to the crux of the car.... Everytime we sent the car in, the bill, at best, was hovering around $1k..... many times, it exceeded this $1k figure....
For the BMW, if PML is too expensive, then other reputable workshops can do the job.... So far, I think the main problem with BMW cars are the little gremlins, not so much the major ones though every make will have its lemons..... So far, its been alright.
I have been informed by the SEs at Volvo that they have restructured the aftersales dept at SM and everything is now normal..... since then, my dad swore off Volvos.......
