My E46 318is less than 2 years old. I just had a problem starting the car and PML said that my key is faulty and they are replacing it. At the same time my radio went dead and that is being replaced too. My question is has anyone had the same problems. For thos ewho have had this model are there some problems inherent with the E46 318i so that I am psychologically prepared for future expenses. Tks. Joe

No worries as long as PML covers your replacement parts under warranty
I have mentioned before in some other threads that each of our BMW experience different issues and how soon or how often they occur varies from car to car.
As long as PML takes care of these issues to your satisfaction, most of us will just live with it even though we all know that PML after-sales service SUCKS BIG TIME!
If you are one of those who is very particular about your paintwork, tell PML not to wash your car cos you will be "pleasantly" surprised at collection.....
