Hi,

Need to rid myself of the following:

1) E46 3.91 Differential and drive shaft flanges 64,000km. SOLD

2) E46 3.46 Differential (50,000km) Good for 330 Non-SMG. ($800) *This is the best diff gear ratio of all times!! The pull is constant throughout all rpm ranges all the way to 5th gear. Highly sorted after in the USA by many 330 dudes. 325 can use as spares as well... 320i can upgrade to this diff as it is bigger and stronger(mod needed). RESERVED.

3) Brand New 330i clutch and pressure plate from a Z4 $300

4) 320i Torque converter ($300)

5) 330i Torque Converter ($1600) "2 and a half months old. (320/325 guys, good for autobox upgrading)

Note:

There are a few people who have shattered their differential already. No stock in Singapore and PML take 2-3 weeks to bring one in and cost is close to $3000. Hence, good to keep as spares!!! I have too many spares already hence need to get rid of some. Those who have broken their diff before will know how long and how expensive the down time is. Any takers?

Yup...couldn't agree more with you in that sense. Love my 3.46 now. But you should try the 3.91 on your car. Damn shiok!!! 1st 2 gears damn short, torquey and at times neck snapping until several Rexes and Cheebics also kenna stunned! Although with it there is inherent risk... you guessed it right.... I shattered the damn thing in a matter of less than 6 months!! Was attempting a drag with a VR4 from standstill, revved up to 4500k and released the damn clutch, wheelspin, lurch forward .... and then ... clonk-clug-clug-clug-plonk!!! There goes my differential/rear axle.... left only to smell smoke from blardy VR4....sheesh!!!
(Wilman can relate to this I believe! Right Wil?)

Hi ,

Wah, launching with a 3.91! You steady :) Even with the 3.46, I am already gentle with it. The 3.91 is already taken by someone and he is very :) with it. Already told him to be gentle with it but he insist on whacking it! Bro with 3.91, read this post; now you see my point? ha ha. Installing 3.91 requires the prop shaft and both drive axle shafts to be changed as well. You looking for which? I still have a spare 3.46 that I took from MITE46! Interested? Or you have a 3.38 to swap?

its very important how you run in your rear diff. blackstealth, since you have spare diffs, you should consider fitting an LSD into them. i think you'll need it.

Yep, thanks. As of now, i'm trying very hard to run it in. As for the spare diff............"Kaaz"-ing it sound like an idea. :) However, the idea of bringing it back across the pacific and have them retrofit it sounds "costly and tiring". Damn thing is 37kg!

buy over the Hiop one, have local mechanics install it into your LSD. simple. you'd never believe how much of a difference a simple LSD can make on your car. It's a total handling-transforming mod. seriously, dude.

Hi JSCP, only the 3.46 will fit with minor flange swapping. Some do and some don't like the shorter gearing. To each his own. However, as of yesterday, it no longer available as it's on reserved now for LSD installation. Sorry.
