I understand that the central lock will activate by itself shortly when you start the car. My fear is that being locked out if i leave the engine running while I am not in the car.
The lock doesn't activate on timing. It activates when the car is moving beyond 20 or 25 km/hr. So unless your car engine is on and is rolling, it should not auto lock.
