E46 Cab alarm sensitivity

My E46 cab's alarm has suddenly developed the runs. Goes off all the time sometimes within 10 secs of locking the car. Any cab drivers here have this same problem and can someone tell me how to turn down the alarm sensitvity or even disable it?

I am having the same problem with my car original alarm. How did you get it fixed in the end. Thanks.

Believe it or not it was the glovebox lock which was faulty. Changed it and now OK.
