E46 Angel Eyes - Passing LTA Inspection ???

Already very "gian" to install angel eyes for my E46 318i FL. I was told that this is not LTA compliant add ons and wondering how many E46 modders out there with angel eyes has encountered any problem or hassle during annual inspection by LTA for road tax renewal? If you dun fiddle with HIDs, angel eyes are fine. I went thru the 3rd-year inspection with my 8,000K xenons and CCFLs (angel eyes) on my cabrio without any worry. They were more anal on the ACS muffler - cross-checked against a list that they have.

I honestly do not think they could differentiate which BMW model has xenons/angel eyes as standard features.

Mine passed with 6000k xenons.

mined failed with my 6000k hid, the guy just put light diff. color on his report...haha
ask me to go back again...sekali they dun even bother to check when i went back the 2nd time, just drive thru n pass, print cert

You can get a new set from BVO or J4C. Also you may get a used set if any bimmer is selling theirs, check it out from the Bazaar in this forum. Cheers.:juggle:

just go to J4C n BVO....n tell them u WANT them to send car in for u....that service will cost u 130 bucks...drive ur car down n then leave it there..collect later...
