i thought in malaysia you can upsize your engine as long as its within 25% of the original displacement or something like that?

anyway, jerrytay23, give me your US4k, i'll get you your 15%, no need for supercharger.

I have seen a turbo charge kit for the 318 but heard from the guys over at kl that the car is having lotz of problems..i have nv seen/heard abt there is a sc kit yet for the 318 and 17 horses (15% gain) for usd 4k abt sing 6440 is stupid...that abt $378 for 1 bhp..which workshop in kl quoted you the sc kit for the 318???

The shop is in Sunway. the do all the hi end cars. like posh or ferra. i just want to simple mod. like supercharger. turbo i know there will be alot of problem not cannot be done. sure the engine will bust if you don't know how to modified. :juggle:

what the name of the workshop???sc is not really a simple mod and i have never seen a sc kit for the 318...all the best to your sc...

How can you do that? i still like the sound of SC. add exuast? air filter? or with M3 wheels? even M5? like the rest posted.

It's my friends private workshop. I can bring your there if you really want to mod. the owner is coming back from german next week. i meant come on la. the cars which mod in malaysia will not get caught easy. sin is so small. the sound abit loud then the TP will stop you. in malaysia is diffirent. you can always tell them you are on your way to track. singaporean mod is buying things to fit in. but malaysian style is open the engine and do it kampung style.... from 520 to 1G engine. you can do whatever you want in malaysia as long as you got money.

Hmmm..... from the way you posted your title, I would have assumed you wanted to buy an SC kit from this forum. Now that your friend's private workshop is doing it, are you soliciting orders here? I am lost......

I will be keen to see how this can be done. Not saying it cannot be done. Just willing to see how it can be done. Care to share once it is done?

so what the name of your friend's private workshop??...i can go there myself to look at the workshop as i am going up sunway at the end of the month too...dont tell me you gonna sc your car there and keeping/driving the car over at malaysia and not bringing the car back since you said sin is so small and will get caught easily and malaysia is so big and will not get caught easily??...what's the 1g engine???never heard of it before..some special jet engine???

I thought BM parts can get it easier in sin. but optional part i think malaysia is easier. will still mod no matter how.

This will be "good" mod if it comes true.

To Jerrytay23, the brudders and sisters here are trying to help you get on the right track with the best bang for your buck. I can see where you come from with backyard mechanics fitting a generic SC onto you block and fitting some pullies to drive the thing. Sure brackets can be fitted and plumbing can be welded but how sure are you about the drivability and durability of your setup? Welds on backets that give way at 6000rpm will give your bonnet a good makeover. If you are really keen, there are turbo kits for the 1.9L engine. Keep boost down to 5-8psi with a small turbo and you will enjoy lag free response. Or else, look up the SC kit as posted by Wilman.

ps: dun be "metal teeth". the forumers here help and assist if you are polite and humble. Kids we are not so pls don't write in such tones.

urrrhhh... why din you just ask your friend who owns the workshop to get it for you, since your friend got discount maybe?. i'd like to see how simple a SC kit is for your car esp.

I think you're abit lost, but still i wanna see your 1.9L SC car.. swee hor.. i wait for u to post pics and figures.. maybe can have a friendly drag with some of us, drag with a stock M54 2.2L maybe.
