E39 Rims Set Up

Hi guys, sorry to bother you guys with an age old question on an even older model but new to bimmers and need some advice.

Assuming I'm not looking to lower the car, wat sort of rim and tyre set up should I be looking at -

18 vs 19?
Staggered?
Tyre size?

u dont hv to run staggered set up..
18 is good for daily driving..19in looks great but cost dearer..

If u go 18, u can do 245 / 45 /18 all round, rims sizes are 8.5in wide

5*120 PCD
ET front is +15 to +18 there about
Rear is +22 to +27 therea bout

thanks triple m.. just to clarify.. i thought the offset would be the same all round if not running staggered?

Nope coz right from the factory, they are already different...ie different in track width basically

Guys.. going to change my rims and tyres later.. just one final quick ?

i'm going for M3 CSL style rims which are 8 x 18 ET20 all round with 235 40 18 tyres.. tis set up ok?

how's it gonna affect me vs 245 40 18 8.5 x 18.
