E36 - Vanos

Hi

I was told only e36s that are 1993 and newer has vanos engine - can someone confirm this?

Also, visually, there is a solenoid valve (or something) at the engine which means its a vanos engine? - anyone can post a clear pic to share?

Yup you r right.It comes with a single vanos at the intake camshaft.Sori i got no pics for that.

Thanks but do u know if all '93 e36 320i/325i comes with single vanos or only those registered after a particular mth in 1993?
