E36 318iS Gearbox RIP

[iScoupe]

After 17yrs* my gearbox retired. The gearbox was so reliable even till today, it still running very well on gear 1 to 4, only the 5th gear do not wish to engage below 120km/hr... milleage done 401,785km. Bo pian lately kanna alot speed tickets & I don't think I can wait 120km/hr to change 5th gear so I decided to replace it.
so finally it was replaced yesterday at BVO;.

325i/328i Manual Gearbox, Flywheel & Clutch by Propel

Labour by BVO with;
Gear Box oil seal x 3
Flywheel oil
Flywheel bearing
Gear Box oil
Gear Oil (fully synthetic) - 75W90 TS

*17yrs - new 5yrs since 1992, ex-ex owner (Vincent) use ~3yrs, ex owner (Ken) use ~3yrs, I used 7yrs.

Damaged cost more than 3,600 satays...

Hmmm think my car ready to up for sales, all done up.

Up for sales?? Spray Green or Yellow 1st before sale..... Confirmed price higher...

Saw your car in BVO that morning... did not wait around to see the gearbox replaced. So how is the new gearbox?
What gearbox oil did they use? OWS I suspect.

was joking about the race lah... me slowest of slow coaches how to run?
The last satay meetup was nice and I was truely impressed by the Sandy Club members and your rides. No horse run......

BTW... yours got potato chip.. mine dont have.....

I was at the satay meetup. Got race meh? I missed the show.
Any way, how is your new pedals? now can toe-toe without problem liao, better siam U the next time I see you.

Not race.... was trying to follow Resident Road Hog and iScoupe to carwash.... wah lau the way they took off.... driving like their cars were stolen.... so now that iScoupe has a new gearbox... should be more heong.... wonder how is the 325/328 gearbox.

I think you missed the show cause you did not go for the carwash?

Now HnT is super easy... every single corner, slow or fast also HnT . Very pleased with it.

if you eat alone. can eat 1 day 10 for a year. keke,

E36 on virgra la... so need "let go" sometimes la...
I hate silver E46, white E60 & E90 manual... i go see track with them, my car like tortise... wait depression.

but the black C3PO E46, i see no up... give him 5 lamp post... ai race mai?
