Good day one and all !
Was wondering if anyone here has done their leather seat re-wrapping. Mine are beige and are pretty worn out. If got lobang for all new seats ( black or beige), that would be great as well. Any idea on proce/ /location would be great ! Am not averse to doing it in M'sia as well

Re: E34 - Leather wrapping of interior seats

don't need to go to malaysia...

go google '8 cushion'.

there are also quite a few reviews in this forum. go do a search.

on the contrary, there are m'sian cars who come to 8 cushion specifically to re-upholster their cars. have seen a few during my visits there.

have fun!

Thanks Buddy :)
Will check it out - hopefully doesn't cost an arm and a leg

Re: E34 - Leather wrapping of interior seats

just let the lady boss know you've been recommended by this forum.

she might give you a discount on top of the already reasonable prices. beats having to get new seats.

btw, just have in mind what you want - colour, material, stitching colour, etc. She will then be able to advise you on what to do to make it even better.

just be sure to post some pictures of the finished product.

have fun! :)

Re: E34 - Leather wrapping of interior seats

I find the sports seats in my E92 thick thick and uncomfortable. Thought of modding to some racing seats which are 'thinner' to better accomodate my barntark. Saw the BMW performance seats and dont like the leather, let alone it doesnt come in red leather as my car;s interior/rear seats.

I was thinking if I could say buy some second hand seats from someone, and get them to rewrap in coral red dakota leather. Is that possible? Does aftermarket places have same BMW leather and colour? How is their quality of wrap?

Cosplay in North America

Convention activity in the United States and Canada has become a much larger and much more popular trend within the past decade. Larger conventions such as Anime Boston, Otakon and Sakuracon have become renowned internationally. With the added public attention coming from such popular animated cartoons imported from Japan (see anime) including bleach costume and now the popular bleach costumes, cosplayers and the anime world have peeked their heads into the world of mainstream pop-culture, on at least a relatively underground scale. More and more convention goers bleach cosplay as their favorite characters from their favorite anime, and thus, the bleach cosplay costume and anime subcultures have been able to have enough influence to further the creation of List of anime conventions to accommodate for the increasing number of cosplayers. Many cosplayers jokingly refer to Halloween as "National Cosplay Day", although many cosplayers spend so much of the year dressed up, they also like to take Halloween as a day off.

Re: E34 - Leather wrapping of interior seats

jackspeed seems to be cheaper than cushion 8 in terms of pricing, so is cushion 8 better?

Re: E34 - Leather wrapping of interior seats

Hi woffwang, sry for the late reply :)
I currently have beige electric seats and would like to keep it that way.
Could you PM me your price anyway for the full set?
Will probably get it wrapped in same beige colour (including the roof linings, and door sides, pillars.

Dear all Bimmer members,

I'm Dez from Jackspeed. Jackspeed is a public listed company engaging in leather upholstery for automotive and aviation and we are also TUV certified which is important in the automotive industries with more and more cars equipped with side air bags. All leather used by Jackspeed are all "automotive leather", unlike some in the market using the "standard" leather. The differences are mainly in the UV resistant as well as flame retardant abilities which is important in terms of safety standards.

I will be most pleased to be of service to all members. Should anyone be interested to retrofit or even "repair" and "replace" certain defects portion, you may look for me.

But just to note, for repair, it's subjected to suitability and matching availability.

For complete overhaul, you may visit our website at Jackspeed Corporation Limited for viewing of colour and colour matching, you are able to customize various colour to personalize your beloved car, including not too complex embrodiery. But leather upholstery for the seats are not exhaustive, we also do wrapping for steering, handbrake and gear including the leather wrap covering the stem, as well as roof lining. Anyway, all the mentioned are not exhaustive though.

I can be contacted at desmond@jackspeed.com or 96951379.

Hope to be of service.

Many thanks!

Rgds,
Dez
