Hi Guys,

By replacing existing shocks & springs to aftermarket ones or coilovers, is the cars ASC/DSC affected in any way? Thanks in advance for your attention.

Re: Dumb Question

The DSC and ASC works by having accelerometers in the L/R and Front/Rear directions to measure the acceleration in both the lateral and longitudinal directions. Thus when combaring this to the actual wheel speeds at each corner, the system will intervene to cut power or brake individual wheels. By changing your suspension settings (spring rates, damping rates and roll center) The forces will still react in the same fashion but to 99% of drivers in 99% of the time, the difference cannot be spotted or felt.

Go ahead and mod your ride dude...
