Door can't open

My driver's side door can now only be opened from the inside and not outside.
think teh catch or wire must have broke... no resistance when I pull...
Luckily locking mechanism still seems to work....

PML sez its an "intensive" job... must send in for one day...

Anyone has prior experience? Mines a PreFL coupe.
Possible to buy parts and DIY?

Still under warranty? - Go back to PML.

If not, check out any of the workshops in the "Resources" page from the front of the site. I've had personal experiences with BVO, and I'm very confident they can do a good job.

Ask them to try this...reset the doors....it worked for mine :wavey:

Somtimes could be the latch from the out handle that is not tirggering

U pullin the handle with overhand grip?

Try underhand and "raising" the lever.

Got mine fixed a PML. Under warranty.

Happened to my pre-fl coupe before. There is a plastic catch inside that is broken. PML charges a bomb. Billy from J4C fabricated a new catch for me and it has been working fine since. Rather inexpensive repair.

How much did it cost in the end?
To replace the part, do I need to remove all the interior trimmings? or Can I do it from the outside?
Can BVO do this as well ?

Happened to me like couple mths ago, got it fixed at PML coz under warranty.
