We will never know. Even the creator of the animated video knows how to put it respectably in the end of the animated video i.e. Donnie smiled, turns to look at the wall with 3 photos and writing, Walk On Bruce Lee, Dragon... more like Bruce Lee is Donnie's inspiration, afterall Bruce Lee is still the Legend. IMHO.

For the trained, they will notice on 1st view w/o slow mot... disregard the ability to counter (likely alot cannot) since it is about "noticing the move".

Watching the movie, half the time I am looking at bruce lee's face, the other half the time I am looking at the strike on the other fella, not the feint...

Donnie learnt Wing Chun in 1994 from Msia Boleh Girl

From movie persepctive, yea. In reality, Donnie learned it from the same lineage as Bruce Lee's Wing Chun. Latter from Ip Man while former from various Wing Chun Masters including Ip Chun.
