guys these things happen everywhere...we know it happens. look at the genocide in kenya...u feel as sad? i honestly dun think so.
not to say i dun feel sad watching that video clip on dogs being slaughtered or dolphins being hacked up....just think there r sadder humanitarian crisis going on in the world.

When it comes to these feelings, we tend to feel less on what's going on around the world. Reason we felt lesser on genocide all over the place is perhaps due to over-exposure by the media. We have taken crimes against humanity as natural political cause (and costs). From the atrocities committed by the Japs and the Germans in WWII to Bosnia to Somalia all the way to the sad case in Rwanda, we have even watch movies on them. In a perverse sense, our sympathy was numbed. We feel lesser and lesser........
And dogs are man's best friend.......

Man is cruel, but that is why we are the dominant animal on the earth.
Keeping dogs and killing them like that is cruel. But what about the fish or crab you choose at the hawker stall? They are waiting to die too. Cows, pigs, chickens, almost anything that lives these days are killed for our "survival".
Sheep being slaughtered on "festivities"?
Frogs skinned alive?
It is survival of the fittest and Man appears to be the "winner" at the cost of others suffering.
