Does Power Steering Sprong Back to Centre

Hi all :

i realised that upon existing from a corner, or after a turn (left or right) into a road, the steering wheel does not automatically spring abck to centre the car all the way. i have to steer it back to go straight. This is very unliked the Japanese cars where the steering will spring back to centre.

anyone have similar experience ? is it common among BMWs ?

It should turn back. If it doesn't send it back to PML.

Can just clarify one more before I go fire them on Mon.

When I mean don't spring back, I mean spring back all the way until the wheels are pointing straight and the steering back to the centre.

For my case, the steering will spring back until the last 30 degrees before centering.

Is this something wrong ??? Thanks guys.

It should centre itself after any turn. Send it back to PML and get it sorted out.
