Slid from 2.0825 against sgd from 27th Nov till date about 1.75 thereabouts...


dropped abt 15%....


thinking of going in for better equity return vs local banks interest rates amidst some risks....

any bros has an opinion on this?

EUR is so volatile now...think no one for sure can tell you which way will it go...its definitely a gamble but one that may pay off handsomely if you believe EU will not break up and is strong enough to hold off Greek Spanish Italian Irish bailout.

How bout buying FX options instead? protect yrself downside pain..unless you are keen to hold physical currency.....but rem Euros int rate will not be high for a long time to come...

The EUR has potential upside but alot of risk given the economic conditions in the region. Alternatively, you can look at AUD soon. It is starting to look attractive.

kookk, interesting preposition... AUD has risen quite a fair bit... is the mkt fundementals in that boring country that blossomed becoz of the gold mining in WA starting to come of age??

Not sure which trading platform you are using, I am using Saxo..gives you a lot of leverage and a wide selection of options...maybe you can consider it. pretty good in my opinion.
