Looks like the official pics are out, if ur not already seen them..

To it looks very conservative, which is not that good for a coupe, but at least not as conservative as the e90.. Post ur comments.. Watd u think of the lastest gen 3Ci, i'll be holdin out until the M3 of course...

If u go to the www.autospies.com , they seem to tinks it s so-so... So wat do S'poreans tink?

i am skipping it. it look almost similar to my e46 FL. and if the new m3 is gonna be based on this, Daymn! the rear looks too clumsy. hope this is not the final thing.

I kind of like the rear look...better than E90 models...but E46 models are still the best overall looking. IMO..

E46 coupe looks better but again, typical bmw, one will grow to like it...
IMO, the front looks great, even in stock form as seen in the pix above..
The rear, from 3/4 body down...it's reminiscent of Mazda 929 if u guys hv seen one before. ...

E46 coupe looks better but again, typical bmw, one will grow to like it...

Might grow to like it, like in 1998 when E46 attempted to phase out the E36. But this round it is less sporty, more elegant - which makes one wonder - is the E90 really to be positioned as a sports sedan? Even the coupes are less than sporty.

Think they hv a bit...
Like the new Z4 3L coupe , it is not using the 231bhp M54 engine nor the new Valvetronic 258 as in 530/630 but the latest 261bhp version of IL-6 which is likely the one used in the upcoming 330ci too.

I find that the front is not passionate enough. The sides like the CLS and the upcoming 2007 C-Class and CLK-Class. The rear is another page out of Mercedes' book - to make the low end same looking as the high end - so in this case it looks like the facelifted 7-series. The rear upper lip is even more conservative than the E90 sedan!
The side profile is its best angle, unfortunately, the rear lights tear too much into the body, giving it an aged `American Rep Car' look.
Rear 3/4 looks too much like the Z4, which is not saying very much for a coupe, though OK for a roadster.

it feels so. Look upside down the picture. it will take away your preconceptions and look at the designs as it is. - technique by Chris Bangle (looks upside down at other people's cars)

I see it..
It's the flame design from the front wing that forms an arch with the side skirting from the 3/4 view.. There's indeed a resemblance of sorts..

It's not fantastic looking, but it has potential to be. Even the E46 looks fairly sedate without nice rims and a slightly fiercer bodykit. The design seems subtle enough to be able to accomodate bodykits without the kit looking disproportionatelty loud..
