Dent near wheel arch..

Anyone experienced this problem whereby even Lye design is unable to do a paintless dent removal due to the extra metal piece at the arch?

Yes. Same thing happened to me too. There was a dent on my bonnet. Too bad it was at the part where the metal reinforcement were. Ah Lye couldn't get it fixed so in the end, I had to get it puttied over and re-sprayed.

did you respray the whole bonnet?

Yup. its better to respray the whole bonnet than a localised spray job.

really depressed about the dent now, cos pdr cant help and there is no one 'whole piece' to spray

Aha Services - Paintwork Repair for car chips, scratch and bumper scuff

has anyone tried this before? I also suffered a dent today. Damn lexus Suv, I parked so far away and the bloody drive still managed to slam into my door. Paint chipped off.

tomorrow I asked them to come down and patch up. I can see the bone of the car loh. will post photos if its good.

not very good leh. this chap came in a mobile van and started mixing colours and then applied with hand/finger/fingernails. At least the white patch where the paint come off is now blue. I think he can also tell that I am not too thrilled by his handy work. So for 2 patches he only asked for 30bucks. For an hour of his labour, its ok lah. I think what I will do is to accumulate more dings and then go for a respray at Mike's.

where is the dent ?
I got one just beside my door handle and it is impossible to get it push-out due to the lock assembly.
Look at the diy section, removed the whole lock handle myself and then get the guy at Capitol to correct it.....swee swee now..
In other word, what is the item that block the way and can this be removed from inside...if can then it can be done.

I always believe that maintaining the original paintwork is the BEST and will try not to respray if possible.

its at the rear fender, at the bottom. the only way is to remove the covering to expose the suspension, but i've no idea how to do it
