Defects in new BMW

Was polishing my brand new BMW yesterday when I noticed that the rear light housing was loose and had come off at one end.

Bought car to PML and was told that I needed to leave car at the workshop and pick up after Christmas. Looks like I am experiencing the wonderful after sales services that forumers talk about.

Anyone found defects in their brand new car?

This is something i notice a diff btw F30 316 & other variance. While sitting in my car, i could see the rear axle of F30 316. But the other variance are properly covered up. Why??
