the dodgy stalls are always on level 1 & 2. its best to avoid these two level totally.
Shops in Sim Lim Sq are strata units.
therefore the owners at the upper level normally wouldn't want to deal with the dodgy shop operator. and yes, they shop owners know whom the dodgy bosses are.

Ban liao who will take care of those KPKB ppl's car ?
If next AD takes 3 mths to start operation then what will happen to those in need of svc or repair in between this period ?
Entry cost to this industry is high, not like those stalls or shops.

(1) Note that the blacklisted shops in Sim Lim are not penalised. Just an awareness created by CASE. No ban.
(2) While costs to entry is high, a blacklist puts the respective management in check insofar as reputational risks are concerned. Beats a complaint folder in BMW-SG.
The issue is whether CASE dares to take on the big boys.

aiyah.... just have to buy cars that are built to last and find dealers that offer relatively good service.
our legal system dun have those class action suits types.... say VW 7 speed dsg catastrophic failure not due to mods etc.... in US can sue for new car.... in singapore... suck thumb wait for dealer to fix the thing (if under warranty), pray they give you a courtesy car
