Day 1 Reporting

Hi I am Kenny. Not a BMW car owner but thinking of getting a 2nd hand BMW.

Have a few friends who drive one and they are very passionate about their BMWs. So decided to register an account here to find out more (both good and bad).

My current small car (1110kg) is doing 250bhp and 320Nm. So wanted to know which BMW fall in that power-to-weight ratio category and know more from there on. :)

Re: Day 1 Reporting

Welcome.

z4 M coupe will fit your power-to-weight ratio (around 4.33-4.35 kg/bhp), Ryan say one. (ok, it's me and Bmw website say one, don't ban me!)

Not sure about the rest, maybe other bros here can help.

Good luck in your search.

Re: Day 1 Reporting

I can only think of 1///M (Stock).

Hi ken,

welcome onboard...........
250hp and 320nm.....sounds very good for your ride (1110kg)

i supposed either M series or can try a 335i (306hp and 400nm)......or i could be wrong

cheers

Re: Day 1 Reporting

Thank you...thank you!

Am looking at the 335i cos I have a 5 years old boy. Normally what do I look out for in a 2nd hand Beemer?

A rough calculation in terms of Horse Power to weight ratio it would be the M3 E9X series. But in terms of torque maybe the M6? Honestly I tink better keep your current car. More powerful unless U don mind downgrade in power.
