Dash CD player for E46

Just wondering if the Business CD player for the dash has digital radio or do you need some other special attachment for digital radio.

Thinking of swapping out my cassette tape player version for a CD player version. Would there be other benefits besides it can play CDs?

hi VenomX2, rds is not digital radio... just dat they broadcast additional stuff like station name etc. still analog. btw, if u change the head unit, i believe u'll need to re-code for the new hu to be 'recognised' as it seems they all come with an electronic id. just fyi.
