Cyclist hit by taxi

Re: Cyclist hit by taxi

It is not that I am unsympathetic, and I am not siding anyone. I personally believe that we are each responsible for our actions.
Just an opinion, I think it is quite hard to see that the bicycle is coming from the taxi's direction. And both taxi and bicycle were going at very high speed.

I think both have the responsibilities.

Just to check, bicycle can travel on road? No need license?

Bad news is, thread is a repost of a thread started yesterday (http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/bmw-singapore-motoring-life/81882-cyclist-taxi-wrong.html) :p

IMHO and specific to this incident, my take are as follows (similiar to yours I believe):

Cyclist: I empathise with the cyclist and his family but I do not sympathise the cyclist.
Taxi Driver: I empathise and sympathise the driver's situation.

Lastly, this thread is a repost because there's already a thread on this started yesterday @ http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/bmw-sin...axi-wrong.html :p
