knowing ken, the entire scenario does not apply - he will not go out when it rains, or even if it looks like it's going to rain...

flood water hasn't gone up to the level of the air intake, so no worries. otherwise, will experience catastrophic engine failure due to hydrostatic lock (rodney taught me that...)

this gal probably knew that... which brings me back to what i said earlier - i think i'm in love...

It has been deduced that the car is a 325/328, due to the rim design and the waves that were emitting out of the exhaust... it seems that its only 1 side, so in conclusion, its a 325/328.

Safer to unwind the window and "swim" into the window.

The battery will not get shorted so easily. Given today's maintenance batteries that are sealed until there is only a downward facing vent pipe, its not easy for water to damage a battery. Even is the battery terminals are submerged, the most that will happen is a little electrolysis on the terminals.

Lucky that those seats can fold from the boot. At least she can fold them down.

The E9X stock intakes are mounted above the radiator. So should not get any hydro lock.

The car's interior will surely have some water in the floor panels cos the the doors and seals are not meant to stop water flowing upwards. If saved early, her car should be in a better state compared to just leaving it there.
