Can anyone verify was the below actually appeare in our MSM?

First look and it is ridiculous... is our MSM is becoming more and more ridiculous with ridiculous writers and ridiculous editors plus ridiculous proof editors? OR our government is getting ridiculous with money money money...

If we go by the real FSB safety standard, everyday and every train, also failed the fire and safety standard requirement of a car's (real name for train carriage) maximum pax..... our buses too

They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing...going by the ccb gahmen comments in many social platforms...

the rule is meant for those who insist on squeezing into an already packed train and/or refusing to leave, causing unnecessary delays to the MRT. U see this in Japan and Korea where people just die die must squeeze into super packed trains refusing to back out.

When this happened last time, we heard many screaming ccb gahmen for not controlling unruly or stubborn passengers.

now we know there's a fine for such actions yet everyone says SMRT are retards.

hard to win

A certain Saw did say there was sufficient train capacity but commuters in Singapore refuse to squeeze now there's a fine

"Entering a train when it is full causing delay" would be more apt if the intent is as what MW described above.

Re: Crime & Punishment - Can anyone verify?

the Japanese actually have staff helping to squeeze you in.

If Serina Wee takes the MRT, this fine is worth it....
Serina stacker spotted!

Re: Crime & Punishment - Can anyone verify?

Is the list exhaustive? It did not state the penalty for misusing fare cards; adult using student cards. Other good items to include are failure to move in, not permitted to hold handrails when its super crowded when you have BO, unless apply deodorant...

But if its not enforced, having all these is just pointless

Singapore’s fine system never fails to amaze me.
And the latest add-on (to be confirmed) had to be the best:

No, but really?! Are you serious, this isn’t a joke?! Apparently it’s on the papers and besides, April’s too far away… SO HELLO? You’re still kidding right??? Who’s supposed to leave the train when it’s full? You?? How can this system even be enforced baffles me lol. So if we were to enter the train accidentally when it’s full, we’ll get fined? What if I’m tiny enough to slip into the side and squeeze? Will the MRT then beep and go: “Overloaded!!!” ??? If not then how are we supposed to know whether or not is it full?

No entry into train when it is full:
12. Without prejudice to regulation 11, where any authorised person determines that a train is full, no person shall enter or remain in the train if directed not to do so by him.

While we’ve yet to hear any actions taken towards Anton Casey‘s case, the new “law” seems to take a toll on the commuters instead. What do you think?

Since we are on the topic of ridiculous laws, may I also include the TOP 5 most unbelievable laws in Singapore:

1) Failure to flush a public toilet – fine $500
2) Homosexuals are not allowed to live in the country
3) Oral sex is illegal unless it is used as a form of foreplay
4) Bungee jumping is illegal
5) No group gatherings after 10pm. More than 4 within a group is considered as an illegal gathering. Police officers will question you and your gang.
