creaking noise in E60

any E60 owners experienced creaking noise when accelerating or when driving on bumpy roads? i dont know where it came from..sounds like its from the inside of the seat belt... try touching every panel for loose parts.. nothing is loose.. seat belt did not hit anything either... where the hell does that noise came from?

terry, its a common e60 problem.
it comes from the door seals rubbing against the body i think.
pml will put a 3M tape olong your car body, or you can spray some ows body flex on your door seals, and the creak will be gone... for awhile.

I had creaks too. Somewhere from the door area, so I applied body flex to the door seals which helped a bit, but by no means completely cured it. I thought it had something to do with the car being in the heat, but I still get creaks, from various sources and at various times of the journey.

Darned annoying.
