Marklee.. yo... neighbour..kekekekek... nice vidz.. but na beh.. their heavy vehicles are all over every freaking lane as well....

Nic91, if you are willing to pay extra, the middle age uncle taxi driver in Taipei will gladly drive that way too... not even stopping by to bio the Ping Nang chio bu....Also, I was rushing to Pattaya once and told the cab driver that I will double the charge if he can make it in < 2.5 hours... boy do I regret... it started to rain shortly and we skidded, luckily without any consequences 5 times, along the way. He didn't make it but at the end of the journey.. I got to the front, paid him doubled and shoke his hand for his guts in trying...kekekekek..

One thing I noticed... this guy flashes his lights ahead of time and majority of the vehicles (front as well as sides) did make way for him.... 2 would have been collisions due to skidding were avoided by such behaviour.. see...road attitude are very different...

This morning, a chain collision almost happened when some idiot pushes another on a wheel chair across a 5 lane road when lights are still green. The van decide to veer right to overtake, the lorry beside veer right to give way to the van and the car veer right to give way to that lorry.. I veer right to avoid this car and almost hit one that decide to stop on the right side. The cars behind me pulled an emergency brake and was lightly kissed by the one behind him. Over such startling condition, our good friend nochalantly just continue to push his wheel chaired buddy across the road.

Pedestrain endangering drivers? Drivers endangering other drivers?.. What? ...

If you like to experience similar situation, try Sim Place in the morning around 8.30 ~ 9.00 am. There is an uncle who pushes his trolley full of cardbox boxes as if he's driving (at walking pace)... Auties with their marketing load walking on road side (not pedestrain walk) side by side some more.

People say hullo to one another at crossing at the entrance of carpark and decide to chat there...It used to pissed me off but now I take it as a way of live at that vicinity.

When you are slow, you put those who are fast in difficulties. When you are fast, your weaving through the obstacles places other in difficulties. Hence, if you are not much faster than the car next to you, just move off from the empty lane and maintain a clearing for those wishing to go fast. Traffic jams are another story then.

Re: Crazy driving

after reading it 10 times i think i understand it liao.

first he say, taxi also can drive like that if you willing to pay double. he relate his personal experience.

then he talk about different driver attitude, and then go on to pedestrian attitude, and relate his personal experience again

then he extend his explanantion to something he encounter often

and finally he talk about the yin and yang and how everyone has a part to play in preventing accident. :laughlik:

Re: Crazy driving

For your info, the M5 vs RS4 video is based on Gumball 3000, 2004 event. The M5 in both Video posted by MarkLee and Nic are courtesy of the Driver Alex Roy of Team 144 Polizei, the most wanted driver around the world.

A celebrity street racer and seasoned cross country rallier, winning numerous races and rallies. Fantastic driving skills and balls of steel. U can read more abt him in his website. make a search in google for it. He is a multi-millionaire thru such driving.... Cool

Re: Crazy driving

Not a good idea to glorify people that do this sort of thing. Also am sure your conclusions are misdrawn.

Re: Crazy driving

yeah...it doesn't take great driving skills to drive like him...it just needs a brain the size of a pigeon and balls the size of an orang utan

Re: Crazy driving

well, for some, these are heroes, to me, i'm neutral, but they sure are risky that i gotta agree. but i definately feel that they are safer then our SG taxi drivers and female drivers!

Re: Crazy driving

balls of steel they have...

but watching how that RS pulls away so effortlessly from the '5' makes the Audi a very tempting proposition!..

Re: Crazy driving

many people in SG drive like that.

Being in cars where people drive like that make me scared to drive like that myself.
