IMO, go back to agent cos most insurance companies, pay for at least a single windscreen change a year. Going to an external workshop may compromise the seal between the glass and surrounding frame. To make things worse, should they be unfamiliaer with your car, they may break some plastic clips around your windscreen trimming.
If you got no coverage then no hoice go to delgro or someother biggie workshop cos they should have the correct sealant. Usually the windscreen does not use the normal sillicon type but rather a special all weather type that is black and especially soft.
