Hello there, bros.

Just wondering what you guys paid for your tyres. Reason i am asking is because today i walked past a tyre shop near the Comcenter at orchard and just went in to look. Coincidentally, they are the authorised BMW rims/tyres dealer or something like that.

ANYWAY, i proceeded to ask for a quote on a set of Michelin PS2 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 and guess what, FREAKING SG$3250!!!!!!!!!!

OMG I COULD BELIEVE MY EARS. I asked her, "tyres only ar?"..

Lol, sorry if i sound like a noob, i've never bought tyres before.

BUT anyway right, i was freaking shocked because my sponsor could get me the exact same set for HALF the cost!!!

So.. were they OVER-quoting me.. or is this the STANDARD price of tyres around here?

If you're in the PS2s I can recommend you a place where you can get them fairly cheap.
Just PM me.
I paid about $1000~1100 for 2 sets of 255/25/18s PS2. My 225/40/18 cost me about $770

Haha I don't know the specifics but so far he has one of the best prices in SG. PM me. I'll give you his number. Quite a few forumers have bought from him already. I don't earn any commission though, just helping you guys out.

I remember South East and Hurry tires quoted bout 2.8k there about for the same specs but that was almost a year ago when I was checking.

Now 235/35 and 265/30 for 19in cost bout the same... Oil price goes up, rubber also goes up....

Hv u thot bout other brands? If I were ya, I would look and try for others first. Reason is that PS2 is such a premium ultra high performance tires and if u dont do that much of highly spirited driving nor tracking, it seems to me it's gonna be quite a waste to invest in.

Give a serious thot on Eagle F1 GS-D3, Toyo T1-R (if anyone brings in)...

Another very good one is Potenza SO-3 but it's a bit heavy and hard. Should cost ard 2.4K for the same specs u mentioned. I m using em now.
If ur future rims are lightweight ones, then it's not so bad else....I won't recommend..

Thanks for chiming in. Confirmed getting 19" DPE liao. See when only.. Got a few other stuff to get first. And i thinking of getting the coilovers together else wait the car look like X5. Lol!!!

Tyres can slowly consider.. What i don't understand is why they charge a high premium...! If get from US, shipped to my door, also almost 1k cheaper liao.

Enjy and take ur time modding bro. The ride doesnt look that bad with stock susp coz the bigger wheels really fill up the arch gap so it's ok....

I was thinking 20"... but nah.. can't track after that..

My guesstimate is $250 for the front and say mebbe $380 for the rear. You may wish to check with Wilman2772. I think he has contact to cheap F1 GSD3.

My profile slightly different. I am running 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 coz I am on a 5 series. But currently on Pilot Sports.

currently running PZero Neros which came w the car
& they're balding soon

I paid $1,600 for the 4 tyres in the staggered set-up I mentioned above. These are Pilot Sports and not Pilot Sports II. The latter will break a few banks.

Haha, it broke my piggybank. Altogether my PS2s cost about $1850. : (. I'll probably try the Goodyear F1s next time.

My buddy just got his Goodyear F1 245/40/18($320) & 275/35/18($360) for his E60. No GST somemore!!
