Looks like the article states openly one of the true acronym of BMW i.e. Bring More Worries. Consolation is BMW is standing at 25th, above Audi amd Merc.

Own take away: Indeed my current ride is giving me more 'broken parts' than my previous RWD Jappy (with alot of 'throttle abuse' too)... comparing mileage and age-for-age of ride.

BMW 41% only? i expect 60% failure rate especially when the car reaching 3 years old or 100k mileage ...
that means BMW had done well ... LOL
