Hi guys, I have been considering getting the new m3 but was disturbed by the number of m3 s selling in the market, both coupe and cab. It used to be so hard to locate a m3 for sale, from e36 to e46 .

A little apprehensive by why so many folks letting go of their ride. Hope the bros here can give some advice..

Re: Considering m3

M3 is a great car but people get tired of driving the same car after a while especially those who can afford buying cars like this new...

Re: Considering m3

Its a numbers game, over the past few years the M3 has become more affordable not to mention available as well. The more brand new (or used import) M3s are sold the more there will be in the resale market.

There's nothing wrong with the M3, just like Kuvesh said, perhaps people might want to move on to other cars. Especially so when again there are more and more used Porsches, Maseratis, Lambos, Ferraris, R8s, etc in the market.

Re: Considering m3

I walked past a black M3 yesterday in the carpark and I had to looked a bit longer as it extremely quiet!! I had a friend who critised that the M3 is way too quiet for a sports car. Is it true that the stock M3 is that quiet? esp since its a V8?

I saw a Nissan Sunny today with a sticker at the boot stating "Super Saloon".

Rare.

Re: Considering m3

No one plays with the same toy for a long time, and now when its more available and affordable...everyone is getting the taste of it...desnt make the toy any bad..just allows more people to enjoy the M3 if there is a bigger used car market.

Re: Considering m3

Thanks for the constructive replies.. I saw a m3 ytd with some oil stains on both the power steering fluid container as well as the area around the fuel rail just above the power steering container. Does anyone knows why oil leaks occurs in that area?

Does any m3 owners here, ESP cab, experience rattling on acceration?

Thanks for the positive replies in advance. Cheers

Re: Considering m3

Hey Bro, Oil leaks could happen due to the aggressive driving by previous owner, or even attacking the track too hard, should be a simple clean up or repair to fix a leaking a oil cap.
