Inspired by brother REEVE's chio chio 335 cabrio and his stunning HREs(or should I say kena poisoned liao), I am considering getting HREs or some other brand's deep dish rims as well(Oh fark the potential kerbing of the lip...worry later:yummie: )

Bro Reeve hope u dont mind me quoting your figures.

F 8.5J +28 (on tyres 245/35/19)
R 10J +28 (on 275/30/19)

Actually the 245 in front on 8.5J looks very nice, I like the 'fat look'. I was wondering if I go for R 9.5J instead, can I put on 275 ? (of course I wont know what the rear offset will be as these companies dont always indicate the offset) The other thing I was also thinking is this. The 'fatter' tyre will help to protect kerbing?

Ah Beng, you know how low the profile for 19 rite? Must be some delicate kerbing that zhun zhun kena tyre dun kena rim. Mod the driver lah. But on your separate qn, I see no reason why you can't do 9.5J. Those on Volks are on 9.5J.

come on... 19" not beng enuff le.
20"x8.5J Et28 20"x10J Et32 confirmed swee swee.

9.5 +28 is perfect and can slap on 275 rubber
U shud write in to HRE if they do 9.5 or not

Actually, u shud just contact Benzline as they are the AD for HREs

My mate recently ordered P43 for his 997

Ok thanks Pak. Yes will ask HRE whats offset for R 9.5J.

Damn. From 225/255 >>>245/275, will that be too much rubber? Brother Reeve have reported heavier steering turn feel.

Just saw Reeve's wheels. Awesome. Definitely ballin'...........

Re: Considering HRE too(question on rear rim)

My 245s on my iforged only rubs when I do a full lock and reverse. I think 235 on a 8.5J fits the rim best. Having 245 fronts to protect the rim is ridiculous since the profile is so slim!

I intend to get a set of 'dish' rims - 19 x 8.5 and 19 x 9.5. That will give a dish depth of 2 inches in front n 2.5 inches at the rear.

I know it looks narrower for the dish but looks reasonably acceptable? How many of you have a 2 and 2.5 inch lip on your cars?
